Creators own the work

Original novels, manga, comics, covers, and chapter media you upload remain yours (or the rightful rights holder’s). Publishing on Vilomedia does not transfer copyright to Vilo Media Group FZCO by default.

What we get

You grant Vilomedia a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, cache, display, stream, distribute, promote, and operate the platform with your content. That is a service license — not an assignment of IP, and not a silent grant of broader film/TV or exclusive rights.

Any exclusive options, adaptations, or IP shares require a separate written agreement.

Translations

Approved translators receive only a license to publish that specific language edition on Vilomedia after creator approval. They do not own the underlying story. Revenue for that edition follows the translation split in Revenue splits.
