Default economics

Unless a written deal says otherwise, Vilomedia uses these splits:

• Creator-directed donations — 80% creator · 20% platform.
• Default monetization (series-targeted ads and similar) — 70% creator · 30% platform.
• Partnered charity campaigns — 100% of profits to the named charity (after payment-processor costs).
• Fan translations (per language edition, tied to that translation’s performance) — 10% translator · 70% creator · 20% platform.
• Successful crowdfunding — funds released from escrow after the crowdfunding fee (default 10% platform / 90% creator of released pledges, plus processor fees).

Homepage / untargeted sitewide ads fund the platform. Merch and Plus limited drops may use different listed fees at checkout.
